1. US Bank IT is awful overall, and even setting up their credit cards for Google pay requires a 30 minute long phone call to US Bank since they haven't automated the card configuration process.US Bank Mobile has definitely come a long way in the last two years.

2. I am leaving this review to make US Bank aware I am receiving purchase notifications on my phone from someone else's debit card.

3. Had to take a picture of the back side 10 times! All of the captures were fine, but the app wasn't moving on to show back side was done also even though the image looked great each time.This app is so user friendly.

4. Thank you.This app is flawed with recurring internal transfers, customer support, and account access.

5. Besides being able to view your accounts/credit cards, you can also view your credit score, use Zelle, as well as make appointments in case you need to go into your local branch.

6. Zelle pay has never worked for me via the app, and I get the same error message every time, yet it works fine on a desktop or laptop browser.

7. Every time I log in it wants me to read through the features, agree to a bunch of terms of use screens, set up notifications, set up biometrics, the list goes on.

8. There are times when it is "having issues." Really does help to get a mobile deposit in when there isn't time to go to a brick and motar.

9. I have contacted US Bank customer support and they cannot explain this.

10. I can see where the purchase is made, the vendor, and the price alongside the last 4 digits of the debit card.

11. The online website is glitchy and I keep getting an error message when I try to make transfers.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix U.S. Bank Issues

1. Fix U.S. Bank Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart U.S. Bank: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the U.S. Bank App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "U.S. Bank" » Open U.S. Bank Mobile Banking » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for U.S. Bank » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear U.S. Bank Mobile Banking app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from U.S. Bank servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "U.S. Bank Mobile Banking" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check U.S. Bank app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, U.S. Bank might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall U.S. Bank. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall U.S. Bank then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing U.S. Bank not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make U.S. Bank be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
