1. Please fix it.The app is good, the services are good, BUT it froze my account when I made a deposit to myself from my PayPal with my other bank card.... It wasn't a large amount but I needed to use the funds urgently!!! Contacted support but they couldn't resolve it, just said investigating and wait, SUPPORT IS USELESS! I will not rely on this bank anymore in any urgent situations!The balances are very confusing.

2. Monzo, as a challenger bank feels increasingly like a conventional one but lacks the perks they offer.What's the need of going to a physical bank to set up an account and go through all the fuss? I've been very impressed with Monzo, it's so convenient to do everything, customer service is top Notch.

I'm already going to be switching to it as my main bank as it's just that good, it has many features that are really helpful, I would love to see something like a feature that helps me track owed debt that I owe, that people owe me, but their current feature set is still impressive compared to many big standard bank apps.

4. What worries me is if this bank crashes it will be impossible to move your money to a safe place as they will just hide behind the app.This used to be a fairly solid app but the latest update results in a cluttered overview and copying your card details takes more clicks than before.

5. My overall balance is zero but target says £80 left.Biggest draw back with using this Bank is talking to someone about an issue.

8. Every single time I need to pay via monzo.me link I waste ten minutes because whenever I click at the link it just opens the main screen and nothing happens.

9. Deceptive and miserable customer experience.On the main page upcoming payments now aren't greyed out anymore which confused and makes you think that the transaction is completed while it's not.

10. Monzo is a good bank and the old app was great.

11. I've got zero pounds left but it says I have £20 to spend and in my trends in target it says I've got 14% almost 80 pounds left to spend this month.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Monzo Issues

1. Fix Monzo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Monzo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Monzo App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Monzo" » Open Monzo - Mobile Banking » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Monzo » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Monzo - Mobile Banking app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Monzo servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Monzo - Mobile Banking" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Monzo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Monzo might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Monzo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Monzo then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Monzo not working


2. Fix Monzo Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Monzo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Monzo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Monzo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
