1. Can't mute the whole app otherwise might miss important transaction related notifications, so as a result I have minimized the use of ICICI bank for any transactions - because of the ad spam by its app.

2. Thanks in advanceThe latest update does not give you the option to link ICICI Bank with UPI, this has become extremely frustrating to use now.

3. When I open app and touch any of the option then suddenly pop-up appears related to the bank ads or service related.

9. Old: I absolutely hate that I'm on stock Android and still unable to use the iMobile app without disabling the developer option.

10. However, no resolution so far on that front.I would request everyone not to have an account with ICICI Bank.

11. is incorrect !!! PATHETIC SERVICE !!App is fine but what's the point of not letting me use the app if developer mode is "on" on my phone.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix i Issues

1. Fix i Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart i: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the i App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "i" » Open iMobile : Loan, Banking App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for i » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iMobile : Loan, Banking App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from i servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iMobile : Loan, Banking App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check i app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, i might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall i. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall i then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing i not working


2. Fix i Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make i be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to i not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, i may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
