1. "click this link to setup your phone"-> nothing happens Use carder reader with app, click "confirm" nothing happens Click "limited access" nothing happens Im just going to use my laptop and card reader, if you didn't close our branch i would have just went there.

2. At least if you only had to log in once it wouldnt be too bad but the putting in log in details twice is dangerous as you are hoping its not after going to a clone site.Completely useless I can't get any of the set up to work and I work in computers, called the bank, confirmed all my details were correct for set up and eventually got to check my balance over the phone but not my recent transactions.

3. Still can't access my account after uninstalling, re-installing, updating wash rinse repeat.I wasn't able to pair up because it's a dead end when you choose "Pair Up with Phone".

4. Can't access my accounts until I order a card reader etc meaning I need to find a machine to check my balances and unable to make payments to creditors until sorted.

5. But then I selected 'Choose another option' and then 'SMS Login' and IT WORKED, your gonna receive an SMS with 6 digits and after confirming, you'll be able to access your account! (Unfortunately you'll have to do this every time to log in).

6. As soon as lockdown is over I think it's time for a new banking provider that has proper internet banking.Brutal. My phone is incompatible with the app.,. There is no mobile app, it's actually a tablet app which needs to be downloaded.

7. That leaves a lot of people with the only option of having to constantly carry a card reader around with them, which is majorly inconvenient and just not good enough.Same issue as others have mentioned.

8. Simple fix guys, get a good developer scrap the card reader - everyone loses them or the run out of battery.

9. And also, the 'Limited Access' link only worked on the website.This is absolute horror.

10. No matter how many times I've gone through the process of setting up the app on my phone it doesn't work.

11. It just will not work on my tablet at all, the app constantly crashes just like the phone version.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix AIB Tablet Issues

1. Fix AIB Tablet Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart AIB Tablet: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the AIB Tablet App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AIB Tablet" » Open AIB Tablet » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AIB Tablet » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear AIB Tablet app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AIB Tablet servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AIB Tablet" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check AIB Tablet app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AIB Tablet might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall AIB Tablet. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AIB Tablet then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AIB Tablet not working


2. Fix AIB Tablet Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AIB Tablet be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AIB Tablet not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AIB Tablet may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
