1. Amongst the terrible features are: the app is hard to navigate - it has terrible sense of UI and required so many taps to do you what you need, it doesn't allow you to add contacts via the mobile app (despite the phone being a trusted device), and as of lately the app won't even open because it says it doesn't trust the next work I'm in (Currently using Vodafone data).After years of working fine, the app has been abysmal for nearly two months now.

2. It is not a problem just for Android 13, I have a tablet with the same problem in some apps that need to open the browser and there is an option to open external app and open the browser making impossible to login.Completely useless.

3. Logging in is a continuous issue, security check complete, but its not, then it tells me to update app, which i do, but that doesnt fix the issue either.

4. Frequent issues logging in and authorization notifications are delayed or don't appear at all, my card is sometimes randomly frozen (an issue with the bank instead of the app).

5. When the browser is open for the security validation after login sometimes clicking in ok nothing is done and I need to restart my smartphone sometimes to access the app.

6. 3DS authentication often doesnt appear - 8 times out of 10 it doesnt appear leaving me in limbo trying to complete my online purchase.

7. Online purchases are a nightmare when you can't even get into the app to approve notifications.Worst app login system I've ever experienced.

8. Also I have to approve purchases in my app for online shopping, however it's a nightmare with the whole signing in process and it can take a long time to buy something.

9. When it does appear, it doesnt always work either so I'm not sure if payment has been taken or not.

10. Other problems too, like if my wife sets up a payee on our joint account on her phone, I cannot see that payee on my phone and have to set them up again.

11. And god help you if it decides to update with a new later of security.I have to start the app a minimum of 3 times.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix AIB Issues

1. Fix AIB Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart AIB: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the AIB App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AIB" » Open AIB Mobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AIB » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear AIB Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AIB servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AIB Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check AIB app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AIB might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall AIB. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AIB then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AIB not working

2. Fix AIB Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AIB be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AIB not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AIB may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
