1. I suggested for this app to atleast make a follow up on any deposits and transactions made but it's all in vain, I never expected this to happen just thought could have access whenever I needed information about it my account, actually you should come up and update us on what is going on other than making us upset for real, so am in a mesWell, I uninstalled and reinstalled it immediately today because it hasn't been responding gir a week now.

2. Anyway the app is excellentWhenever I try to register it shows this account already in mobile banking how can I register to it so that I can easily access my account without any disturbance I would to get some adviceI have tried accessing my account using the app and it keeps telling to update it.

3. You really need to look into this.I don't understand why we have to be charged while using the app to check balance, please make adjustments on the app in a way that the account balance visible at the homepage like apps of the other Banks are.. it makes no sense to be charged for just knowing my account balance.

4. Kindly also work on the graphics of the appHave updated the app but apparently I can't even login keeps saying wrong password yet when I use the*246#option I access my account.

5. I can't access my account as of now however much I restart and or shut down my phone and much as my pin and ID number are as accurate as ever.

6. The app is meant to simplify things for us, avoid lining up at the bank etc but it's quite annoying when you have to go the bank to fix an app that's meant to keep you away from the Bank!!! Honestly this app is wack and makes me want to switch to another Bank.

7. Keep it up BOA.Am.out of the country but am trying to access the app it's giving me information to update am stuck what could be the issue.

8. It seems to work ok on WiFi though.BOA there is charge just to login, there is a another charge just to check balance and other transactions.

9. I'm going to stick to *246# Since it's fasterI am unable to transact as it keep saying Network Error despite having data on my phone.

10. I need details about my account.

11. Bank of Africa needs to do more with this App to improve it's performance especially in the area of internet connectivity.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix BOA Issues

1. Fix BOA Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart BOA: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the BOA App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BOA" » Open BOA Mobile Wallet » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BOA » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear BOA Mobile Wallet app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BOA servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BOA Mobile Wallet" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check BOA app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BOA might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall BOA. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BOA then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BOA not working


2. Fix BOA Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BOA be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BOA not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BOA may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
