Leaderboard Customer Insights

1. Don't waste your time.Just started using the app 4 days ago, love the info and layout and updates, very user-friendly considering the vast amount of quickly changing info.

2. After entering correct login and password a "timeout" error appears on the login screen after about 10 seconds.

3. However, entering an incorrect password immediately results in red borders around login entries and a message to verify.

4. Equally important, please enable or provide annotations in charts.Pretty good in recommending stocks with good fundamentals, backing it up with analysis.

5. So, the app recognizes a valid login but doesn't move past login screen.

6. I'm subscribed to eIBD but couldn't use that login for the app on my Android phone.

7. I called customer service - polite but no help other than to try obvious things I had already tried multiple times.I have to install and unistall it every day.

8. As a paid subscriber now, my login works for both.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Leaderboard Issues

1. Fix Leaderboard Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Leaderboard: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Leaderboard App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Leaderboard" » Open Leaderboard » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Leaderboard » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Leaderboard app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Leaderboard servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Leaderboard" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Leaderboard app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Leaderboard might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Leaderboard. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Leaderboard then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Leaderboard not working


2. Fix Leaderboard Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Leaderboard be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Leaderboard not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Leaderboard may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
