1. Have even got a new Samsung s23 now and still the same issue so clearly its not a hardware fault on my end and Santander have been totally unhelpful every time I have called them about this problem.It has now been working fine for me (basic use) other than sometimes it crashes or I loose the other site when a card needs authorisation for a payment but what it really gets on my nerves is "Sandy's help" she gets in a loop and keeps asking the same few questions over and over and over, I thought it would be faster and easier than calling but I was soooo wrong.
2. I had to switch to the website on my laptop to complete the process.Lately this app has developed issues like taking some payments twice, the trouble with this is as you can not take a screen shot the bank itself won't believe you when you raise it as an issue so it's your word against there's.
3. On top of that, that reset process sends you a OTP text message, which if you try to read it then makes you start the whole reset process over again! ...and again... and again...Very reliable and yet secure.
4. Such an inconvenience that I'm leaving Santander!Used to work fine, but now keeps asking me to reset credentials, for no apparent reason.
5. I have cleared the cache , data , restarted my phone, uninstall and reinstalled the app from the Google play store and still no change.
6. When I want to send a payment for more then I can quickly change the limit and transfer, then reset it easily.
7. Recently lost over £18 due to this issue, never refunded or returned to my account because it's their word over mine.
8. If you switch to the SMS app to read the code you have to start the whole process again.
9. Can be added a basic message sistem so we can send a request? like ... Please close xxx account... Simple but effective.
10. to reopen the app.Useless. This app has never worked for me, when opening it, i get a red screen for about 2 seconds then it automatically shuts down repeatedly every time I open it.
11. This has only just become an issue here at home in Somerset...always worked but realised friends have had exactly the same issue.
