1. When I'm Uploading my check to be cashed the app just freezes and closes itself out after I snap first pic of check and the check cashing fee want up tremendously sadly... What happened to my control card it use to be perfect for me not anymore 😢I've been with control hard since 2009.

2. I have been using netspend for years and never had a issue until I tried to activate the control card.

3. Will never recommend control!There wasn't a issue taking all my personal information when I applied for this card but in order to activate it I have to go through a life history.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Control Card Prepaid Issues

1. Fix Control Card Prepaid Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Control Card Prepaid: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Control Card Prepaid App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Control Card Prepaid" » Open Control Card Prepaid » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Control Card Prepaid » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Control Card Prepaid app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Control Card Prepaid servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Control Card Prepaid" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Control Card Prepaid app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Control Card Prepaid might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Control Card Prepaid. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Control Card Prepaid then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Control Card Prepaid not working


2. Fix Control Card Prepaid Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Control Card Prepaid be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Control Card Prepaid not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Control Card Prepaid may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
