1. The ideal would be a widget that you tap to turn the card on and off but requires a pin code at each use.Like most everyone else has said, this should be part of Ally's mobile app, especially when you tap on any of the notifications it sends you, it tries to open the Card Controls app, and then says you need to use the basic app.

2. The first time pops up a message saying card controls should be accessed through Ally bank even though I am.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Ally Card Controls Issues

1. Fix Ally Card Controls Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Ally Card Controls: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Ally Card Controls App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ally Card Controls" » Open Ally Card Controls » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ally Card Controls » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Ally Card Controls app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ally Card Controls servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ally Card Controls" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Ally Card Controls app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ally Card Controls might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Ally Card Controls. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ally Card Controls then reinstall.
