T- Customer Insights

1. pulls wrong contact list, only uses native list, not outlooks, which requires maintenance if two contact files, resulting in duplicates and old contact numbers being used to make calls.The app is cool, in that i can run my business line and personal number through 1 phone.

2. I've spent the last 15 minutes trying to send a text to a client and can't get app to even respond to my keyboard to get her number in!Constantly crashes, often when trying to answer calls or open group texts, becomes unresponsive.

3. There is no dependency on SIM cards if you have this application with youI was told by the device notices displayed on the T .Mobile app that Sprint was my provider ? So therefore, I downloaded Sprint App , even though I have a TMobile sim card inserted.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix T- Issues

1. Fix T- Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart T-: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the T- App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "T-" » Open T-Mobile MultiLine » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for T- » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear T-Mobile MultiLine app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from T- servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "T-Mobile MultiLine" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check T- app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, T- might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall T-. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall T- then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing T- not working


2. Fix T- Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make T- be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to T- not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, T- may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
