ADP Customer Insights

1. Site is just as frustrating.A headache that doesn't even include important features! If you like being shut out of your account on a regular basis, this is the app for you! I've worked at three different jobs that's started with ADP, and it was always an awful experience, and all three of the companies eventually switched to a different platform.

2. I have location permissions turned on in the app but I cannot use my phone to clock in even if I'm standing in front of the tablet that everybody uses 2 clock in.Quick Clock needs an overhaul.

3. The ADP logo animation on login is a waste of time.The most recent update destroyed the UX.

4. I would like to be able to clock in and out and use the app for its convenience when I'm not in the office.Every update it seems to get worse.

5. Now shortcuts no longer work and entering time takes more clicks because of unnecessary screens.

6. I care about the details, showing only a percentage with a rolled up number doesn't tell me much and once I go deeper, I have to find my way back just to compare another category.

7. Also keep getting "unknown error occurred" when trying to save the time card and occasionally won't let me sign in.

8. Over it! One feature that's very important that it still doesn't have is the ability to fix missed or incorrect punches.Where to begin...navigation is not clear nor intuitive.

9. Getting info should be quick and intuitive, the latest update is anything but.

10. I log in and the screen is mostly blank; I can't see any of my pay statements or manage my timecard, and I am not able to clock in or out.

11. Every time they update, it just gets worse.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ADP Issues

1. Fix ADP Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ADP: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ADP App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ADP" » Open ADP Mobile Solutions » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ADP » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ADP Mobile Solutions app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ADP servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ADP Mobile Solutions" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ADP app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ADP might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ADP. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ADP then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ADP not working


2. Fix ADP Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ADP be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ADP not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ADP may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I need to delete my previous account associated with my name so that I don’t have duplicate emails associated with my name. Also the app has crashed on my home screen and appears unresponsive for several hours now . I would like to see my settlement. Also i have tried to uninstall to reinstall but the app icon is frozen.

  • Hello. When I initially started making my account, I thought I was doing everything correctly but I just found out that my username and password needed to be a certain type and not one that I can choose. I was wondering if I can delete the current account that I have, and replace it with a new one? My account username is Elmerbarr. Also, failure to comply will result in a penalty of $7,500 under CCPA.
