1. Thanks for nothing.This app auto deleted all my videos that I saved over the course of two years, approximately 125 videos...just gone! There is no customer service option to even try to troubleshoot the issue.

3. After an update the developer pushed, I LOST ALL MY CONTACTS & information on them (including all the texts exchanged w/ that contact, the times we called one another, & all the notes on that contact [think birthdays and such]).

4. It's getting annoying, and it shows your REAL customers how little their feedback matters.The ability to create folders for video would be great, being able to move files from one folder to another without exporting them would be great.

5. I tried exporting it back into my phone and surprise surprise when it exported it didn't export correctly and it's just a still picture and when I try to play it, it says it can't play the video.

6. After having deleted the app and downloaded it again, none of the new pictures and videos I've uploaded have been restored.

9. I'd hoped that since I'd once been a premium member that my data might somehow be retrieved, but I hadn't kept premium because most features weren't used.

10. 30 update, it freezes up and crashes, and I've been unable to access it or any of the files I've saved onto it since.

11. Google doesn't allow this version because it breaches certain issues so you have to download the potentially dangerous version.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Vault Issues

1. Fix Vault Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Vault: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Vault App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Vault" » Open Vault - Hide Pics, App Lock » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Vault » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Vault - Hide Pics, App Lock app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Vault servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Vault - Hide Pics, App Lock" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Vault app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Vault might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Vault. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Vault then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Vault not working


2. Fix Vault Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Vault be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Vault not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Vault may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I mistakenly deleted the app and when I redownloaded it, and tried to sign in it says network error. I need those pics urgently. I have tried several times and it says Network error all the times. This is so frustrating.

  • For some reason why I try to log into the app to access my photos and videos I have on my premium account once I’ve re-downloaded it it just keeps saying network error? I have tried all the emails and passwords I can think of but it just keeps saying the same thing. Please help me

  • I have been utilizing your app on my Android phone for quite a few years. Using my email you should be able to research that and see. For whatever reason I am unable to access gigabytes of video and photos that were uploaded to the cloud in order to transfer from phone to phone. I cannot find a place here on my PC to log in so that I can recover those videos and photos. This is not the first time based on some of the other information I've been finding through other people but I'm hoping that you guys have a solution and they just never took the time to reach out to you to find out.

  • I try to restore my photos from the cloud but get the error message that my account is suspended. Even after 24 hrs or more i get the same shit. Please solve this issue!
