Adobe Connect Classic Customer Insights

1. Never expected this quality from Adobe!!!It's one of the best apps for online meetings and seminars but the android version has too many restrictions in comparison with the windows version, you can't pause videos which really bothers and it's biggest problem for me is that you can't type in Right-to-left languages like Arabic and Farsi which needs to be solved.

2. The option to send a question to the presenter is in a text input field at the bottom, but the keyboard covers the field.

3. Also sometimes when I try opening a recorded session on my phone, it says "can't open the recording on the mobile browser" and I have the app on my phone but it doesn't give me the option of opening it on the app.

4. The app auto populates the last user and does not let you change from guest to login vice versa making you stuck in an endless loop of stupidity.Interactive features seem very badly designed.

5. I don't seem to have a mute button, so have to keep connecting and disconnecting my mic instead, and you can't use the chat feature as the keyboard appears over the typing box.

6. If the option to allow portrait mode was allowed then I could likely see what I am typing and pasting.

7. You can't see what you are typing nor can you paste other content because the paste option is obscured.

8. Simply put: The text input field doesn't slide up to make space for the keyboard.

9. I missed out on trying to engage the presenter by asking a question about the presentation content because of this text field problem.

10. It's nothing more than a garbage mobile version of Adobe Connect.

11. It's every bit as awful on my home computer with over 100MB download speeds on my internet connection.This feels like it has fallen far behind most other similar apps.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Adobe Connect Classic Issues

1. Fix Adobe Connect Classic Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Adobe Connect Classic: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Adobe Connect Classic App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Adobe Connect Classic" » Open Adobe Connect Classic » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Adobe Connect Classic » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Adobe Connect Classic app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Adobe Connect Classic servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Adobe Connect Classic" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Adobe Connect Classic app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Adobe Connect Classic might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Adobe Connect Classic. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Adobe Connect Classic then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Adobe Connect Classic not working


2. Fix Adobe Connect Classic Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Adobe Connect Classic be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Adobe Connect Classic not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Adobe Connect Classic may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
