1. I guess I have to find a kiosk to pay.Does not work well, can only pay one property, gets stuck, WILL TRY UPDATE AND CHANGE REVIEW IF IT WORKS FOR MY TWO PROPERTIES.----update, COULD NOT EVEN SEND CONFIRMATION CODE, wish I could post video or pictures to show uselessness of app!!It was a good experience except I'd like to be able to see the amount so that you can pay on old taxes along with present taxes.I paid my Winter Taxes successfully and then immediately tried to pay Summer.

A few things seemed odd from a development standpoint but its no hassle to retype an email address when compared to dealing with the city of Detroit directly.I have uninstalled the app and installed it again and have restarted my phone and each time I put in the info it says an error has occurred.

3. What happened?My app stop working it says to check my internet I really liked this app I'm upset that I can't use it anymoreThe only thing good about this app is the convenience of not having to go search for a kiosk.

4. It won't let me delete old payment methods, and I can't even set up Auto-Pay since the app won't accept my card.Easy to navigate, found my accounts and allowed payment.

5. Maybe they will get it right eventually.Help all was good until, I couldn't access the city of Detroit water department bills anymore.

6. Not to mention they say its free but if you do credit card there is a 3 percent charge of the total amount paid.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix DivDat Issues

1. Fix DivDat Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart DivDat: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the DivDat App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DivDat" » Open DivDat Mobile Payments App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DivDat » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear DivDat Mobile Payments App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DivDat servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DivDat Mobile Payments App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check DivDat app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DivDat might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall DivDat. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DivDat then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DivDat not working


2. Fix DivDat Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DivDat be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DivDat not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DivDat may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
