1. JUNK!!!I think one thing that would really improve this app would be the ability to sync it with my fitbit or other such wearables? They don't track calorie intake but they can keep track of heart rate, steps, and sleep patterns, which are also important factors when trying to improve your overall health.I am a VAMC patient.

2. Other then that I like it better then myfittness.I am very happy with the app thus far; however when placing information into my diet after selecting the food item it failed and gave me a phone number to call.

3. It was great, now, no good.I installed this app on a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, it has android version 6.0.1. This app should work based on the requirements, but it does not work at all.

4. This happened twice under the same circumstances thus I can only deduce that this is a network connection issue.It WAS a great app... I tracked my weight, diet, and activity all in one app.

5. Counting calories is obsolete!!!! I can't say enough bad things about thisThis app is great, especially the reports.

6. No plan is perfect it's how you use it that matters.I hoped this would be helpful in tracking things like calorie intake.

7. After installing the Move app on my android phone, there is no option to accept the privacy agreement.

8. No access! I emailed and phoned VA tech support, still no access.I didn't know this app existed and I'm glad I found it.

9. About 30% of time when it records your diet pick, it records wrong picked item.

10. I have been using this app with great success, till the last update.

11. I would recommend anyone considering downloading this app, don't bother.I don't see how anyone can say it's still great.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MOVE! Coach Issues

1. Fix MOVE! Coach Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MOVE! Coach: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MOVE! Coach App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MOVE! Coach" » Open MOVE! Coach » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MOVE! Coach » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MOVE! Coach app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MOVE! Coach servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MOVE! Coach" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MOVE! Coach app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MOVE! Coach might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MOVE! Coach. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MOVE! Coach then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MOVE! Coach not working


2. Fix MOVE! Coach Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MOVE! Coach be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MOVE! Coach not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MOVE! Coach may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
