Cash App Customer Insights

1. I just thought it was a cute idea to design your own debit card, if you choose to have a cash app card, and if you use your Google account your debit can automatically connect to your virtual wallet if you have one, before you even get the card so you can use a tap pay feature.Fantastic at what it does and you rarely have to pay for any of it, so far I've only had to pay when doing an immediate withdrawal onto another card.

2. I'm able to get paid from any/every entity, company, corporation, agency, agent for any/every side hustle, however big or small! I'm able to program all my cards and accounts and can move money back AND forth from my bank to any account or card.

3. I also find it easy since it links my debit card and not my bank account.

4. However, I have been experiencing a maddening glitch where the app requests to open my browser window to an ad page with a link to download Cash App.

5. UPDATE cash app support said to check my settings and make sure my pops and adds are blocked and they have no control over it.

6. It's very difficult to get whatever money I had on there back once they've closed my account, and getting in touch with any type of customer service to get help with anything is impossible.

7. Not to mention, after they close your account you have to order a new card... every time.

8. Hotel records show no double payment but cash app shows $770 so now I'm -$176.

9. There support was useless.Never had a problem with this app, 2yrs till today when I get a notification that my weekly hotel payment of $385 was doubled to $770 this afternoon.

10. the menu is simple.I don't mind the small fee, that it does when you want Instant Cash.

11. When I opened a dispute, I was told they would reimburse me for my upgraded card to be replaced.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Cash App Issues

1. Fix Cash App Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart Cash App: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Cash App App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cash App" » Open Cash App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cash App » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Cash App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cash App servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Cash App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Cash App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cash App might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Cash App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cash App then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cash App not working

2. Fix Cash App Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cash App be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Cash App not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Cash App may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Reported Issues

Note: Issues displayed have already been sent to the developer and are older than 7 days.

  • On March 11th and March 13th i purchased items from online. The merchants received payment from me through cash app on both days stated in the amounts of $106 and $164. I then received my merchandise from Walmart. Those 2 amounts also reflected in my cash app account on the days stated.

    On March 18th i noticed a negative balance in my cash app account WITHOUT notations as to why. Upon contacting cash app they quickly fixed the issue in the amount of $106 and informed me that it was the walmart order that i had made on the 11th of March. Later that night there was another negative balance in the amount of$164. Cashapp again informed me that it was a past walmart order i had made previously. Walmart says there's no reason for that as they had already received a complete payment from me.

    After receiving credits in my account i now have a negative balance of $139. I just want cash app to put my account back to its original amount before putting me in the negative.

  • Hi, I was wondering if cashapp could cancel my Apple payments because I’m not using it anymore and it attempts to charge me everyday even when I don’t have money and when I do have money it charges me automatically. Let me know if you can help. Thank you

  • 9 /17/20 Cash App locked my account for "My own security" The next day I emailed support and provided all information they wanted from me to prove my identity.They than said there investigation was complete and concluded that my account was compromised and informed me they were CLOSING my account. I was told to email square and provide certain info which I did immediately! I had 283 on there with a 300 pending direct deposit and more direct deposits after totaling 2,000 still haven't received!!!
