United Community Customer Insights

1. It's slow in posting debit transactions where my banking app shows immediately when one takes place PLUS it alerts me whether it's through email, text or phone call unlike this one.

2. They bought out my bank, and I am forced to use their app that won't let me access anything or even setup anything.I had a little trouble with the app at first, turns out it wasn't the apps fault, came down to user error! Every since I finally realized what I needed to do, I've had no problems with using it - and I use it on average say I use it at least 3-4 times a week, plus I have it notify me every morning what my starting balance is.

3. My biggest issue at the moment that drives me nuts is I can save my password in my phone, at least five different times and my saved password is never saved The one that is saved in my phone does not work every time like It used to.

4. Requires access code that needs to be emailed to you, but doesn't allow you to enter your email, it emails the default email that shown as an example when you select email, and it doesn't allow you to receive a text code.

5. It can also be quite difficult to get the picture just the way the app wants it, I can stand in the exact same place and do the exact same thing and it will work for three checks and not another for example.

6. Said they were fine with my transactions but corporate thinks it's fraud? Gave me 30 days to leave with no explanation.Instantly at the top! Continues to be my number one favorite online banking app.

7. It offers an app that supposedly has settings and features for your debit card yet when you try to download it, it will only put you right back to signing into your online banking account.

8. It will, however alert you via text when you sign in but you can forget it if you need anything else..If mother lived in an area that had a bank of america branch, she would be switching to them.

9. Even tried downloading it by going to google play myself only to find that its already installed and back to online banking sign in page when I opened it.

10. Overall my info is all correct and transactions show immediately though they will be pending for quite some time.Nothing compared to Bank of America's app! I don't know whether it's the bank, itself or the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix United Community Issues

1. Fix United Community Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart United Community: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the United Community App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "United Community" » Open United Community Mobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for United Community » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear United Community Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from United Community servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "United Community Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check United Community app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, United Community might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall United Community. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall United Community then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing United Community not working


2. Fix United Community Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make United Community be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to United Community not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, United Community may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
