The Vault App Customer Insights

1. Would not consider using until next full generation.(EDIT: Fixed the issue and allowed my card to be used again) Had to use this for one of my local businesses as a means to use my card.

2. There in app service said that this did not happen but it clearlI had a card in the Vault app that was expired and I took it off the Vault account but the app would not allow me to add a new card.

3. Huge flaw should be fixed asap.This app is a rip off! I was charged more on my credit card than the actual amount.of my transaction.

4. Tried contacting the company and all they said is "we show you received it" 😠 It's really frustrating when more and more companies seem to use it for payment and I can't even get it downloaded.I have had only good experiences with the vault app.

5. It shows your bill payment and processes it instantly, that is when properly set up with you account.Cannot use the app to send money because it freezes when I use the camera.

6. The app gets stuck with the message "take a picture of your card" and does not offer any user input.

7. I have emailed the developer and called.my credit card company.

8. Also cannot re-add a deleted card, so I can never use this app until I get a new credit card.

9. But as soon as you remove your card for any reason there's no entering it back in even on a new account.

10. I got a text message from the vendor that they had sent me a request yet when I opened the app there was no unpaid request.

11. Wrote a support request in the general help section but it would not send.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix The Vault App Issues

1. Fix The Vault App Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart The Vault App: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the The Vault App App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "The Vault App" » Open The Vault App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for The Vault App » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear The Vault App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from The Vault App servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "The Vault App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check The Vault App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, The Vault App might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall The Vault App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall The Vault App then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing The Vault App not working


2. Fix The Vault App Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make The Vault App be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to The Vault App not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, The Vault App may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
