Current Customer Insights

1. I highly recommend these guys because they are always updating the app with new features that make it easy to save money, and cut out the use of 3rd party applications by adding a direct feature integrated within the app i.e. (Crypto, Taxes, etc) and always have staff made easy to chat with to resolve a problem in text form, so no longer the days of being on hold for half an hour just for the call to get dropped.

2. however I wish there were theme options, and also other ways to divide money, especially coming from simple bank, who had the most unique system which I haven't seen anywhere else yet.. but current is the best "current" banking option I have used in a long time.So far, I haven't had any issues.

3. I would recommend if you're looking for a mobile banking type app to manage your money.Been banking with them now for almost 2 1/2 years.

4. When I come to find out that it was just me filing a dispute for wanting my money back and the first party didnt answer me so i had to contact current.

5. And need to add credit tooBest mobile banking app for sure! I especially like the 4% I'm getting in savings.

6. There is a small fee to deposit physical money into the account, which for me isn't a big deal since I have direct deposit anyway.

7. Finally, my biggest reason is my debit card, oftentimes, is randomly declined even with plenty of funds and even with a correct pin.It's a pretty great app.

8. The biggest thing I like about the app is that after you establish direct deposit, you gradually are allowed for overdraft (which is overdrive here) and there isn't a fee for it which is nice.

9. everything so far has been super useful, plus the 4 interest points earned ain't too shabby with the savings account provided.

10. I do see that people don't get spending alerts, I've never had an issue.very straightforward and easy to use banking.

11. Like having the savings pod on a different screen or lowering the apps main screen.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Current Issues

1. Fix Current Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Current: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Current App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Current" » Open Current: The Future of Banking » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Current » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Current: The Future of Banking app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Current servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Current: The Future of Banking" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Current app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Current might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Current. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Current then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Current not working


2. Fix Current Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Current be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Current not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Current may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Fraud department closed my account. I had to reopen the case because I disagreed with decision. So they opened it and I got the case over turned to my favor in June 2021 and now my account is closed but mean while deposit where going in.. I have my debit card I can use to see my balance I have called and emailed I have even called choice financial Bank and I'm working with BBB right now. I want my money back onto my card ( not showing negative) I need that to be a positive and the money you took almost 700 (one of my stimulus check) and a transfer. I have fell into hardship I'm home less because Current Bank but taking my money and overlooked the odivious that I was right but you rook my money and closed my account
    I had to go to a shelter with my infant son cause I couldn't get no one to help me. Chat doesn't do nothing I have all my emails I sent to your company and no 24 hour response no phone call. Just the automated email and a fake fraud department. This owner of the company is a joke he steals people money ans we can't do nothing. That's is false look at your reviews this company is a fraud. Please credit my debit card with my money so I can withdrawal it all i am asking I don't care about opening up my account. It's sad that the CEO of this company sleep good at night and eat good. While your company is ripping people off.

  • Can't use my account current. I have told customer services several times i have not changed any info on my account we can verify if i could talk with some one i have refunds from current that was pending and just received a refund then i screen shotted the email for the refund back in my account

Jackson i have remained locked out of my account.after several attempts i can not access my account i have several disputes from my account with unauthorized transactions i have screen shots of all my info disputes i have made aware through emails thst i haven't changed amy info on my current account my address is the same as it is on my state i.d. my phone number is valid and the app still has me locked out.. I have funds routed to my account with the i.r.s. and stimulus i need access to my account i bern locked out since june please help me

  • I need to talk to someone ASAP this is urgent!!!! How the hell do I get my money out of my account without a debit card !!! I wanna transfer all my money to a different bank account but they dumb plaid that y'all use don't list my dam other bank! I need to resolve this asap y'all need a different coustermer service were it's possible to talk to a real dam person I will be getting rid of y'all because of this!!

  • You declined a purchase to vanilla prepaid visa for 203.95 cuz used virtual card but then removed that amount from my account and transaction says pending Ive called Vanilla Visa there is no order number or funds received they pulled up that it was declined there was nothing to process and to contact you that was on the 4th of July 4 days ago Ive left messages and voice messages and told every time you will get back to me in 24hrs its been 4 days since my first message to you and no response. Ive contacted Vanilla Visa again they said its you the bank that have hold on funds and could take 3 to 5 business days to process and be put back on my card. That is simply not except able. How do you decline a purchase and still take the funds no purchase was made so why is it pending or being processed there's nothing to process Im new to using a virtual card but I did attempt to make other purchases that your virtual card didn't support and it simply declined it and stated that must have physical card and no funds were taken so why was that transaction different and why can't I get ahold of anyone to give me information or explain where is my money? This is feeling really fraudulent.
