3. Joint account holders should register separately. • Savings goal available on instant access savings accounts. • My Loyalty Cards is available to customers aged 18+.
4. Only available for Personal and Premier Current accounts. • You can create one Travel Plan at a time, for a maximum period of 90 days, that includes up to seven countries.
5. It’s available to customers aged 11+ with compatible Android devices and a ROI or international mobile number in specific countries.
6. You can log in to the app safely with your fingerprint, face or secure passcode and there is always a confirmation check to make sure you’re paying the right person or business. • There is a maximum of 5 payments totalling €1000 per day.
7. The Travel Plan will apply to debit cards only, attached to accounts that are managed via mobile banking, and only in your name.
8. You can however switch these off for your device by visiting the ‘settings’ menu and the ‘accessibility’ menu where you will be able to find animation control settings within this menu (note this is not within our app but on your devices settings itself).
9. We monitor your account 24/7 for unusual activity and will refund any money paid out of your account as long as you keep your security information safe.

1. It doesn't matter if I choose to allow or disable finger print login.Good app at the beginning but became fuzzy later on! Always not connecting and going into service mode! The bank doesn't seem to have an idea of what's going on! It's on auto - update; yet this issue! I have another bank's app working properly on my phone!!! Nothing yet has been done to make this app work on my phone! My email to the developers has not replied!!!Great app, simple to use and you can even set up notifications for each time the card is charged so you can immediately block it if it ever came to that! You can even get money out of an ATM without your card! I've honestly never had a bad experience with Ulster Bank.
2. But that was not a good, confidence building user experience, which is essential for a banking app.UPDATE: 3 yrs after a bad review I gave I've to say the app has improved massively and it's really easy to use.
3. I've just signed in to my account via phone and no issue, while in the app it keeps asking me for same combination of pin/password and keeps rejecting it! Tried with 3 differents Ulster apps, all useless.
4. Between this and the awful mobile experience on the home buying platform, moving to Ulster Bank looks like a bad choice.Very poor user experience.
5. Maybe something for the future developments...That new log in screen is almost the worst, maybe next time you can have a fully strobing background and have the bit where you put in your number move around randomly, that make it the absolute worst.
6. Every time I try to log in, is asking me to use the password instead of finger print for security reasons.
7. A time saver as you can do a lot of banking on your phone without the need to visit a branch.
8. Why is the security so difficult? If my password and pin and customer number were too easy then anyone could guess them.
9. When it comes to people checking on their finances all you need is to show their details and info in a clear and clean way.
10. I deliberately have a complex password, but asking me for random letters in a random order is just ridiculous.
11. But the moment you leave the app, you're kicked out of the registration flow and taken you back to the start, losing all the info you'd already entered.
