1. I have to use this app for work, but would not suggest it to anyone.It maybe great for employer's, however it states that it must have location access even when you are NOT using the app, what I do when I'm NOT on his time is none of his business and the site claims that it doesn't have access to location during off times and breaks but it still requires 24/7 location access which says someone has access to where I am on MY time not the bosses' time that's an invasion of my privacyTracks you 24-7 plus drains your 🔋.

2. Don't believe what they respond & say! Location has to be on 247App has many unnessisary permissions, and forcing employees to be tracked at all times by a 3d party is illegal in some US States, this company promises they only track when you clock in or out lunch/breaks, but the fact is they can track you whenever they want thats how these apps work.

3. All it does is kill my phone and then I can't clock outHad a different review up decided to change it due to a different issue, everytime I go to check my hours or my schedule it says that it no connection available and tells me to retry but I have full service.

4. This app has an issue.Frequently glitches/crashes when trying to change tasks and the GPS consistently logs me as miles away from my actual location, and I constantly have to explain to my boss that I am indeed at work when I clock in and out.

5. Went to my phone's settings to update my Google maps to leave the restaurant a good review + post photos and ofc ur location has to be on.

6. The developers could of used screen overlay permissions to keep the app active and tracking during work times, yet they choose to force always on location tracking.

7. Why would you change how work hours are counted? It made sense when they added by hours.

8. Went to settings and noticed CS accessed my location jus abt 3 mins ago for what reason idk.

9. Always says connection unavailable when all other internet apps are working fine.

10. Now I can't sign in, its just saying I don't have Internet access.The ability to add jobs when you edit your times is a necessity that it does not allow for.

11. So I can't see my hours and it makes it incredibly difficult to keep track of them.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ClockShark Issues

1. Fix ClockShark Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ClockShark: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ClockShark App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ClockShark" » Open ClockShark - Mobile Time Clock » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ClockShark » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ClockShark - Mobile Time Clock app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ClockShark servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ClockShark - Mobile Time Clock" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ClockShark app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ClockShark might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ClockShark. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ClockShark then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ClockShark not working


2. Fix ClockShark Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ClockShark be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ClockShark not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ClockShark may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
