Work Customer Insights

1. I have given up on them and will be spending my next 9 hours researching an alternate provider.The app keeps coming up with an old module the four digit passcode instead of the 6th and it keeps defaulting back to it about every four or five days and it becomes a real pain for and to continue with it on a daily basisConstantly having problems with singing in keeps saying enter location or nick name and can't get past it tried uninstalling clearing all previous data and still the same issue the other app which shows the rosta works fine just this won't allow to log invery good app with excellent customer service.

2. New update from the 7th of February won't let me clock on app not responding not happyit asking me to leave a review was the only way I could get away from it... i force stopped it through the pull down android settings and it would instantly restart... might otherwise be great but a terrible design flaw... when it showed me to leave a review it was the only way i could have opened android and used it to uninstall... I won't be using it furtherUninstalled as soon as opening.

3. I tried to ring the 1300 number hoping for local help to get a recorded message that the phone was disconnected.

4. E.g. "Was on my way home before I remembered to clock out subtract 15 min" :)Best Time clock app ever! Honesty! Before I didn't like this app but now I love it! One thing though.

5. Installed sunday recieved a follow up phone call to check on how things went before I even got a chance to implement.

6. Spent 9 hours yesterday on call centre chat with v pleasant people but issues appeared above their training levels.

7. Only issue I have is it needs somewhere to leave a message with clock in/out for the employer.

9. I'll update my progress later this week or nextDoes not keep you signed in, when signing in it will kick you out and ask you to sign in again.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Work Issues

1. Fix Work Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Work: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Work App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Work" » Open Workforce.com: Time Clock » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Work » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Workforce.com: Time Clock app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Work servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Workforce.com: Time Clock" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Work app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Work might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Work. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Work then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Work not working


2. Fix Work Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Work be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Work not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Work may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
