Founders Mobile App provides you FAST, SECURE and FREE access to your accounts from your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or Android phone - anytime, anywhere. • View recent account activity and transactions. • Transfer money between your Founders accounts. • Transfer money to other Founders members through Founders Pay. • Pay non-Founders members via Popmoney by securely sending money using a mobile number or email address. • Locate Founders offices and ATMs using GPS or search criteria. • Temporarily block and unblock your Founders Debit and Credit Cards. *Not all accounts are eligible for this service.

2. Why is the application asking permission to access some of my phone’s functions? • Location Services – So our app can return office and ATM search results that are relevant to your current location. • Camera – So you can use the Mobile Deposit feature. • Contacts – So when using the Popmoney person-to-person payments feature you can easily select a contact from your device to pay.

3. Only members in good standing that have the option to deposit a check within Founders Mobile App are eligible.

4. How do I download and activate the Founders Mobile App on my smartphone or tablet?

5. You can download the app directly from the App Store or Google Play. • Authentication required with every TouchID interaction. • No personal or financial information stored on your device.

6. This will be delivered to you using one of the contact methods we have on file (ex. phone call, text message, email).

7. When you request a Secure Access Code, be sure you have the means to access this code immediately.

8. Please note: you will also need a Secure Access Code.

9. If you are confident in your login credentials and are still having problems, reinstall the app from your app store.

10. First make sure you have the correct login credentials.

11. If you are unsure, please utilize the Passcode or Forgot Username links.

Founders FCU Customer Insights

1. App functions and looks just like the web page.Mobile check depositing is near useless because it locks the camera focus so i can never get the check to fit in the window and be in focus at the same time.

2. There's also no way for me to take a crystal clear image outside of the app and use that instead.I have been for a week to check my balance and can't get the app to open.

3. so they took it from barely usable, to totally unusable.Is a banking app that doesn't show a total in all of your accounts.

4. 1 full month and this issue still isn't fixed!Founders needs to do better with this app!! I have been trying to use the app for the past two days and I have not been able to get in.

5. Would like to know whats going to be coming/going before it happensI haven't been able to log in and use any of the app service's.

6. The current version fails 99% of the time to work, even after reboots, force quits, and reinstall cycles.

7. Unfortunately I don't have access to laptop or desktop very frustrating not being able to access account information.

8. Very stressful when you can't do simple things like check your balance in a flash when needed.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Founders FCU Issues

1. Fix Founders FCU Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Founders FCU: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Founders FCU App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Founders FCU" » Open Founders FCU – Mobile Banking » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Founders FCU » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Founders FCU – Mobile Banking app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Founders FCU servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Founders FCU – Mobile Banking" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Founders FCU app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Founders FCU might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Founders FCU. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Founders FCU then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Founders FCU not working


2. Fix Founders FCU Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Founders FCU be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Founders FCU not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Founders FCU may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
