About CitiBusiness Mobile

4. CitiBusiness® Mobile App provides users access to accounts, virtually anytime, anywhere.

5. This application will communicate with Citi’s server automatically in order to relay your consent and to record usage metrics.

CitiBusiness Customer Insights

1. Don't tell me its keyboard logging - the other three banking apps (including your own personal banking app) are perfectly fine with it.

2. So there is impossible to to get digital token.This app will not launch on devices with non standard keyboards set as default keyboard as third party keyboards can post a threat.

3. Samsung Galaxy 10I own a Google phone and the default keyboard IS Gboard.

4. Luckily I had access to one at the time.1. I have to switch to the Samsung keyboard before running the app (from Google keyboard).

5. They asked to reset the password, reinstalled the app... at the end they said is my phone (Samsung 8+ with latest Android Pie 9)... The app doesn't work and support even worst.

6. Other business banking apps allow the owner to deposit checks, but not this one.

7. I also found out that this app, like most other banking apps won't play well with jailbroken or rooted devices.

8. As others have mentioned - not being able to use Google Keyboard is ridiculous.

9. Every time I attempt to view the details of an account other than the overall multiple accounts summary it automatically resets to the sign on screen.

10. I gave it two stars because at least now I can do transfers when I'm not at my laptop.Do NOT update this app before the deadline of August 14th and try not to at all unless previous version isn't allowed any longer.

11. Once I changed to default keyboard it worked fine.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix CitiBusiness Issues

1. Fix CitiBusiness Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart CitiBusiness: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the CitiBusiness App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "CitiBusiness" » Open CitiBusiness Mobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for CitiBusiness » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear CitiBusiness Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CitiBusiness servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CitiBusiness Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check CitiBusiness app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CitiBusiness might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall CitiBusiness. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CitiBusiness then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CitiBusiness not working


2. Fix CitiBusiness Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CitiBusiness be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CitiBusiness not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, CitiBusiness may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
