1. Is great for work and easy to use and has a lot of useful functions.Ok, so I needed to store my documents on an SD card, therefore I had to purchase the premium version.

2. I would suggest using an app that is a bit more reliable as taking photos is essential for my work as an archivist and I spend just as much time trying to get the app to work as I do researching and documenting!This is the best Android phone scanner I have ever used.

4. Just one thing to say about the current version, the way in which you're able to adjust the scan area after you take a photograph is better than previously as it is more accurate but the older and slightly less accurate way was a lot quicker.

1. Fix Simple Scan Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Simple Scan: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Simple Scan App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Simple Scan" » Open Simple Scan - PDF scanner App » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Simple Scan » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Simple Scan - PDF scanner App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Simple Scan servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Simple Scan - PDF scanner App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Simple Scan app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Simple Scan might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Simple Scan. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Simple Scan then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Simple Scan not working

2. Fix Simple Scan Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Simple Scan be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Simple Scan not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Simple Scan may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
