Tiny Scanner Customer Insights
1. Other ones such as adobe scan, simple scanner, and Microsoft lens either require you to sign up, doesn't have batch features, limited cloud sharing features, or are too slow.This was my favorite scanning app.
2. The app is fast and good enough for single scan, but I need to evaluate the process in which it handles batch scan, i.e. does it prompt user after each image to crop/approve (which really slows down the process), or does it allows cropping/approving afterwards.
3. I'd rate it more lowly, given that they have essentially taken my money for no good reason, but that's not an option.I have been a big fan of Tiny Scanner for many years and I have recommended it to many people.
4. The apps that will allow you to evaluate batch scans without asking you to create account are cam scanner and smart scanner.
5. If you want to scan more you must delete from the app the first scans after you sent them.
6. When I did, however, both the quality of the scan with the multi-page selection was lower in the ability to actually add a second page didn't seem to be available in the app.
7. I'm done using Tiny Scanner and done recommending it too.When this app wouldn't open any longer, I deleted and re-downloaded; now I no longer have access to any of my files within the app.
8. Overall, it is more fickle than printers themselves.The app is very nice and fast if you just want to do simple single page scan.
9. I attempted to delete all my previous scans thinking it was a storage issue, but even then the features that I've used and enjoyed for years no longer are available.
10. The free version allows you to scan a limited amount of documents.
11. It is insofar as how it is unintelligible at times and the ability to change the brightness does not quite satisfy needs of readability despite 'scanning' math homework in #2 pencil.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Tiny Scanner Issues
1. Fix Tiny Scanner Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Tiny Scanner: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Tiny Scanner App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Tiny Scanner" » Open Tiny Scanner - PDF Scanner App » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Tiny Scanner » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Tiny Scanner - PDF Scanner App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Tiny Scanner servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Tiny Scanner - PDF Scanner App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Tiny Scanner app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Tiny Scanner might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Tiny Scanner. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Tiny Scanner then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Tiny Scanner not working
2. Fix Tiny Scanner Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Tiny Scanner be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Tiny Scanner not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Tiny Scanner may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I was charged Feb 1 2022, for the premium plan I had, I just tried to restore the purchase bc I updated phones and reinstalled the app…. It took. Barge for the yearly plan that I already have, instead of restoring it, but the App is still not giving me full acces to the premium plan at all, it’s like it’s not paid for.
