This is a glaring omission.Very Nice OCR Feature , Surpassing all other competitors, Only thing that keep it from being my daily use is that I can't move pages from one document folder to another, That's the basic functionality , devoiding such high end app from these basic function is scar to it.Changed score from 5.

2. Also, even if you opted not to save the original file, after a few days you will find a copy in your gallery and if you delete them, you will lose the PDF files from the app.It works better than other apps I have tried.

3. Nevertheless it saves lot of time recognizing complex formatted documents (with digit and text tables, lists, pictures, columns, etc)The app used to be able to scan well.

4. I switched even if i paid for this app, just because of the quality and other features like cleanup, where you fix the edges.Works well, but no "select all"!? Seemingly the only way to select all your files is plugging your phone into a computer.

5. If you disabled the option to save the original file, if the pictures need to be cropped or retaken, you have to scan everything from the beginning.

6. The interface is not quite convenient: no "open document" button to load an existing pdf for recognition (but you can do it using "share" function from file explorer).

7. Finally, I scanned a poor copy of a 285 page book, but it wouldn't share to email or anywhere else - just stalled in processing.

8. I imagine this wouldn't be helpful for anything handwritten either but I haven't tried.It's easy to use, but lacks contrast, brightness and saturation sliders.

9. Scanning itself is fine but capturing text from printed book pages wasn't great.

1. Fix FineReader Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart FineReader Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the FineReader Pro App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FineReader Pro" » Open FineReader Pro: PDF Scanner » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FineReader Pro » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear FineReader Pro: PDF Scanner app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FineReader Pro servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FineReader Pro: PDF Scanner" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check FineReader Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FineReader Pro might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall FineReader Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FineReader Pro then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FineReader Pro not working

2. Fix FineReader Pro Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FineReader Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FineReader Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FineReader Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
