Sleep.com Customer Insights

1. There are some good articles which is why this isn't a 1 star review but the functionality of the sleep tracker is horrible.Been using for 5 days now and the last 2 the app errs... you're supposed to swipe up when you wake to stop the sleep tracking yet it does nothing when swiping up and loses the data now, as if I didnt use the tracker.

2. Not sure how to apply the term sleepiness.Since I started using this app, it had only tracked 2 days of sleep, I got a 0 score one day, and the others simply didn't track even though I double checked tracking has stated before I went to sleep.

3. I've taken screen shots to prove my use but what good does that do to prove use for the 30 days after buying and receiving an expensive new mattress from mattress firm, who indicated, just like another reviewer, to use the app for 30 days in exchange for waiver of return fee...Stopped working.

4. That's 30 days of having to keep your phone charged & next to you at all times through the night, without being able to use any other apps like audiobooks, meditation apps, etc.

5. When I compare the data (when it does work) to my smart watch's tracking it's sometimes close to matching.

6. I downloaded so I could get the return delivery fee of $99 waived if I so choose (that's another $99 on top of the initial $150 delivery fee), only if you download the app and use it for 30 straight days.

7. Didn't seem like it would capture more data than my fitbit does so I haven't used it in a couple months.

8. When it does work, I'm uncertain how able it is to distinguish between me or my spouse or the furry animals during their night adventures.

9. Tried to log in and none of the options work to log in.Great app that tracks sleep and gives excellent recommendations to cure insomnia.

10. I've compared it with my Garmin sleep tracking and both are fairly close to each other.I like all features of the app.

11. I laid phone flat in front of me as instructed stayed still and then waved my hands as instructed.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Sleep.com Issues

1. Fix Sleep.com Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Sleep.com: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Sleep.com App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sleep.com" » Open Sleep.com: Sleep Cycle Tracker » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sleep.com » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Sleep.com: Sleep Cycle Tracker app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Sleep.com servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Sleep.com: Sleep Cycle Tracker" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Sleep.com app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Sleep.com might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Sleep.com. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Sleep.com then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Sleep.com not working


2. Fix Sleep.com Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Sleep.com be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Sleep.com not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Sleep.com may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
