And of course I will change the review to better one, as soon as I see development.The app is in serious need of a complete rebuild from the ground up, it feels like it was built in the early android days and hasn't been rebuilt since, the fingerprint is a nice addition but other banking apps have already had it for years, and have better, faster UI.

2. Also, can you add the ability to show the card number and CVV also in app, for example, we often need it when we buy online, it's not comfortableto search for the card everytime you want to buy something online.

3. I have experienced several "successful transactions" message displayed on the screen when there was no real transaction made (erroneous message) and the worse is that this display stays frozen, making the application unavailable.

4. It does everything you need to do for banking, just not very wellThisis is an update to my review.

5. And recently every time I go to open the app (Samsung Galaxy Note 10), it'll log in and authenticate, and then crash telling me that BOI mobile closed as it detected a bug and wait for a developer to issue an update.

6. The app does the basics like sending payments and viewing your balance but severly lacks in industry standard features right now.

7. Sometimes approval for external payments does not pop up automatically and you need to go into the app.App used to be decent, but whatever has happened recently has brought it down.

8. And btw, you still haven't solved the problem I had with my credit card number not being the right one on my 365 account, even after promising me on the phone it would be resolved.

9. Unless BOI significantly and completely rework their online banking and app, I don't see them attracting many new users in the future.

11. Really am just tempted to switch to using revolut as my main bank for the speed of their app compared to BOI.

1. Fix Bank of Ireland Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Bank of Ireland: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Bank of Ireland App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Bank of Ireland" » Open Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Bank of Ireland » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Bank of Ireland servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Bank of Ireland app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Bank of Ireland might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Bank of Ireland. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Bank of Ireland then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Bank of Ireland not working

2. Fix Bank of Ireland Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Bank of Ireland be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Bank of Ireland not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Bank of Ireland may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
