About Amazon Relay

Amazon Relay Customer Insights

1. The vocal command prompts are annoying; I don't need to keep being told to join the highway, where else am I gonna go? The no-truck symbol should be on the no-truck streets, not the intersection.The application always adds about an hour to any travel time, so the GPS is very unreliable.

2. Other times it directs me to an exit but doesn't tell me in enough time which way to go when the exit forks, because it's really hard to swerve a big rig across three lanes of traffic at the last second on an off ramp.

3. Big red "road restricted" screen warnings that block 1/3 the navigation screen give you a heart attack until you realize it's not you, but because the GPS isn't accurate enough driving in freeway condensed cities and misinterprets what road you're on.

4. The upcoming direction box is huge, but font small, You can't see anything but a straight line on the screen 90% of the time, and by time a turn is displayed, its already in progress, if you haven't missed it.

5. Most of the time the scheduling is generous on delivery and travel times, but part if the time very disconnected and ridiculous.I understand that change is Great however, sometimes I believe if it's not broke don't fix it.

6. In their defense, I have given ample feedback and it is slowly improving.Pretty good overall, occasionally messes up on navigation and I have to restart my whole phone to get the navigation to start working correctly.

7. First it would be nice it it had a better feedback system specifically it does not tell the user if something has already been scanned.

8. 2nd it would be nice if I could set it up so that it automatically open a map I chose, but h9ld to copy destination works.The navigation is usually very accurate, and the app is easy to use.

9. Navigation is absolutely useless now.The app keeps me guessing much of the time.

10. thanks!It freezes all the time and every since last update its getting worse.

11. Mobile Load board screen still more difficult to see and book with, without extra button pushes.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Amazon Relay Issues

1. Fix Amazon Relay Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Amazon Relay: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Amazon Relay App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Amazon Relay" » Open Amazon Relay » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Amazon Relay » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Amazon Relay app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Amazon Relay servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Amazon Relay" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Amazon Relay app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Amazon Relay might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Amazon Relay. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Amazon Relay then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Amazon Relay not working


2. Fix Amazon Relay Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Amazon Relay be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Amazon Relay not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Amazon Relay may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • We applied for the amazon relay account and uploaded all required documents. All documents have been approved but the Operators Licence is still pending to be approved. Harish Gupta is dealing with our application and every time he says upload a valid Operator licence. We uploaded the original licence where we are authorised two vehicles and according to the license we click two vehicles in our application. But it appears Harish Gupta doesn't bother to look into the application, just keeps sending us pre-designed emails. He looks unprofessional and just wasting time. We requested many time, explain to us where the problem is in our application but no reply. 
    Last time we requested, if you are unable to explain, please send us your manager contact number or close our account. It's enough now. He sent us an email again, complete your application.
    How many people will be suffering with his behavior. There is no amazon contact number available where people can get their solution. This guy is rubbish and non qualified in his field and must be immediately removed from this post. We finally request and will appreciate it if someone tells us where the actual problem is in our application. We have already wasted our 4 months in correspondence. Very bad experience in Amazon Relay.

  • Hi

    I need to delete from Amazon Relay all data about my company (VAT number) to be able to apply again for an Relay account

    Here is the steps that I make last year that took me to an suspended account, due to a mistake.

    First time I apply to register with relay amazon on 30 Dec, 2022 from email lnbm.express@redacted
    This application was in hold for 2 months, not approved and also not rejected, I did not know what happening as AMAZON should give an answer within 2-5 working days.
    I decided to apply again as from first application there was no any information, second time I apply on 27, Feb 2023, and second application was approved and account was created on 1 Mar, 2023 from email lnbm.express22@redacted

    I pass the onboarding training and test and I was waiting to get access to load board and start to book loads, but on 3 Mar 2023, on third day, I get a notification on first application that was made on Dec, 2022, that my company doesn’t meet the requirements, and account was suspended.
    On the second email where was open the account I did not receive any notifications, so I assume that amazon system saw that there are two application for the same company and automatically suspended the account without investigating.

    Afterword’s I have open several cases and follow ups with all emails that I could find, searching at least someone to guide me and help me….but no one replied, or who replied, said that they are not responsible for this.
    And by the end on 7 Sept, 2023 I try to delete the account and try to re-register the company again, but it seems that I make worst, as now I lost the access to that account and my company is still hanging somewhere on Amazon database.

    The amazon relay account SCAC AEPCC was suspended and load board was revoked from the first 3 days of activating the account, without using it, and after I deleted this account to re-register the company with a new account, I tried several times to sign up again but every time my application was declined, did not pass the verification process.
    As each company has its own identificatory number, VAT number in my case……it seems that this number is in some black list, and no matter how many times I will try to sign up with my company VAT, I will not pass the verification step, it will alway say that "A CARRIER WITH THIS VAT NUMBER IS ALREADY REGISTERED" even if a deleted the account, the company VAT is still saved in AMAZON DATABASE.
    I also click the button Contact us, and wrote message several times….no answer so far, Carrier account admin – even I do not know who is, I wrote emails on all possible emails from Amazon, CM, etc……..again no answers.

    How can I delete all company data from Relay Amazon, my company had never worked with Amazon, just because of one mistake when I was signup the company as suspended and given no chanse for a further cooperation.

  • Load 113GBC638 on 5/18/23. Relay app wasn’t working. I contacted ROC. They called and filed a complaint and said to deliver the trailer from Owensboro Ky to SDF6 in Shepherdsville Ky and I did. SDF6 couldn’t check it in. I did the run and haven’t been payed. I was told to file a dispute, but haven’t been able to because I don’t have an invoice because it’s my 1st move for them. I’ve been trying to resolve this with no success. Can someone please help ? I’m a single Owner Operator and I don’t have the resources to search for a way around this. I booked the load for $575 and completed the job and would like to get paid. ROC records will show that I did everything possible to correct this problem.     I would like to ask you the reason for being rejected, in your email it was mentioned that my company doesn't meet your requirements, how can I check the requirements you request?

    For your reference, I would like to inform you that we've been granted on the 17th of March 2022 under carrier identity AADWY (PL1133033252) to work with Amazon Relay. The company has been active on the relay app for a month, after which our access to the load board was blocked without any explanation or reason for the blocking
    At the same time, I was admitted to the hospital where I had a surgical intervention and I had neither time nor strength to clarify the situation on Relay.

    Now I decided to try to regain access to the platform on Rely but I got rejected and I would like to ask you for help with this case, even when we worked with you we didn't break Amazon's rules.
    For your reference, I have attached some documents with some proof.

    We are delighted that we were recently granted access to the Carrier Relay to be able to cooperate with you by booking loads and carrying them as safely as possible. However, only 2-3 past, we have become unable to access our Relay and do not understand why. Could you help us regain our access to the Relay as soon as possible please. Our drivers are waiting.   • Whatever the account is suspended or not the load board access is purifying, and besides that the driver application is having another kind of issue: The VRID is attached to the exact driver but it is not showing so in the driver account.

  • Good morning

    Our driver had an issue on July 12, 2022 with his 3rd leg stop, at which time I contacted the trip support line. I was instructed to send my driver back to San Diego because it was an error on the part of the Amazon hub. I went back and forth with the representative in regards to the pallet being taken to a closer location as well as asking where we could take it other than going back to San Diego and he did not know where to take it. After reading the notes of yesterday, it was said that the load should have been taken to Abalinda, the representative never mentioned this location. When the leg was generated the pay was posted at 3.28 a mile bringing our pay to 838.75, and this morning it is 1.79 a mile which is totally not acceptable. Our driver did his job, and we should be paid appropriately, I have copies of the load, it would greatly be appreciated when this situation is resolved.
