1. Gives you all the stats for operation safety.Easy to use,I've had zero issues with wifi, even with guests visiting, in the 3 weeks the mesh has been up.

2. One problem that I've been having with this app on my Galaxy S20 is that after I go through several screens in it and try to return to the main screen, it says "We ciykdn't find Deco" and "Something went wrong with the Cloud service".

3. It also allows you to set up a guest WiFi network.Overall, a good app (the mesh system is pretty good too, but I am not talking about it here).

4. If your internet is out, you can not log into your deco even if you are connected to it via WiFi.

5. Never drops a connction as you can add to system more units for larger coverage of square footage.

6. My wifi has never been stronger, house wide.Pros: 1.

7. I just wish I could afford 1 or 2 more units to expand my wifi further into my garage.

8. So unless you have a mobile device, tablet, you not managing this.. Had I known would have gone with something else.Great Reliability and Easy Set Up.

9. It also notifies you when a new system is connected to the network.

10. I named my network the same as my previous one so all my devices just connected as they didn't know any difference.

11. Otherwise, the setup was very easy too.This app made my networking setup completely painless.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TP-Link Deco Issues

1. Fix TP-Link Deco Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TP-Link Deco: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TP-Link Deco App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TP-Link Deco" » Open TP-Link Deco » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TP-Link Deco » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TP-Link Deco app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TP-Link Deco servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TP-Link Deco" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TP-Link Deco app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TP-Link Deco might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TP-Link Deco. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TP-Link Deco then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TP-Link Deco not working


2. Fix TP-Link Deco Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TP-Link Deco be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TP-Link Deco not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TP-Link Deco may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
