1. Build powerful workflows by dynamically injecting values into the request through global variables or by adding JavaScript code snippets to process the HTTP response.
2. Place shortcuts (widgets) on your home screen to submit HTTP(S) requests to all your favorite RESTful APIs, webservices and other URL resources.
3. Great for home automation projects!
4. This app is open source, find it on Github: It's also completely free and contains no ads, because who wants those anyway.
1. It does what it says, and does it very well... works flawlessly on Android11, enabling me to launch HTTP requests at the touch on a button on my homescreen, interacting with APIs and the ability to write custom JS script within the app really allows you to personalise Server responses.
2. I was on my way to write something from the ground up just so I could have 4 or 5 shortcuts on my home screen that would switch lights on/off or open gates by sending http requests to some Raspberry Pi or ESP32.
3. Variables are being set and read and shortcuts are being triggered I think possibly not in sequence or timing out? Unfortunately, the app is no longer useful to me.Fantastic application, it's simple, intruitive UI makes for easy use and navigation throughout.
4. I just started using HTTP Request Shortcuts yesterday, and so far it is working great.
5. I was sending a GET command and then setting a variable and triggering a sequence of shortcuts, all to control an internet radio.
6. I'm currently using this with a horribly built API - the API always returns 200 even when there's an error and instead the user needs to parse the response body to figure out whether there's an issue.
7. I've been using Via Browser, and while it's an amazing browser, it lacks a few features, like pinning pages to the home screen.
8. The only missing feature I would request here is the ability to change the host of the URL based on wether you are connected to a specific wifi network or not.
9. I have always used folders and shortcuts to organize my home screens, for sites that did not have an app, or where I just didn't want the app installed on my phone.
10. Exactly what I needed.Phenominal app with easy interface that's easy to start using immediately.
11. It's hard to overstate just how easy this is to use if you have some basic knowledge of http requests and JS.
