1. With the last update I havent been able to access phone settings, which means, I cannot do simple things like connect to wifi, change alarm volume, change apps permissions, connect to bluetooh & so on.
2. And its usefulness has gotten progressively worse as more and more ad's show up, taking out the majority of the page when it used to work.Search results yield nothing but ads, ads, more ads, "sponsored results" which are just ads, and then low quality articles that are only tangentially related to what you're searching for.

"It's for device security," Thanks but I'll decide on that myself, there should be an option with a warning to turn voice unlock on - not a mandatory feature removal.Update: I tried a some things, emptied the cache, restarted my phone a few times, and deleted a few new apps on my phone to start with.
4. I like having the option to browse and read on the app first and open or share if I want.The search results are atrocious.
5. Not great for a search engine.This is the app to remove if your phone suddenly crashes when opening settings.
6. I know the trend is to make your apps worse on purpose but it's embarrassing that Google has stooped this low.I have had my phone for over 4 years, and this has always been the main browser for it.
7. I can't access anything about my search history settings or other settings because they also never load.Good. But it seems to get worse every month.
8. I don't like what they've done to the search results, how they turn into images and videos at a certain point.
9. 5/11/23--Still terrible As of the last week or so, constantly getting the dreaded "something went wrong, couldn't conbect to Discover." Typically, I love the Discover feed, I have customized it into something the reflects my interest extremely well and presents excellent, timely information.
10. Shame it doesn't unlock your phone for you anymore which renders a lot of its functionality pointless as if I have to unlock it manually I might as well just finish whatever I'm doing with my hands.
11. And, getting ads for the top 4 results is just misleading and intrusive.Essentially doesn't work anymore.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Google Issues
1. Fix Google Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Google: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Google App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Google" » Open Google » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Google » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Google app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Google servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Google" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Google app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Google might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Google. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Google then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Google not working
2. Fix Google Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Google be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Google not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Google may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

My name is russell chambers. I have tried to contact your company several million times. I have been infected with ransomware by a remote user that has access and use of the neural network. i have lost countless emails to go along with my identity, i purchased google one and other things to prevent and escape this to no avail. this has been ongoing for almost 2 years and there are several reports made about it on up to the fbi. you have haptic feedback and data logs sent that would help in the investigation and apprehension of the people responsible. i understand they are just emails but with the person gaining access through google and stealing my credentials to my phone and emails and duplicating and emulating my entire phone through the use of google and connections hosted by your company im sure theres some kind of contract youre in breach of. the main emails associated with this is the.only.2fresh@redacted doug.chambers.2fresh@redacted soulaceproductionstx@redacted and many many more. i list only the main 3 because i dont want to overwhelm you but this is a problem i cannot escape without assistance and it has completely tore my life apart. if you could please get back to me asap. i can prove my identity and do whatever is needed to get some help with this. i can be reached at 9039049481 or the email address attached. it is my mothers. i am desperate for this to end.
