But overall it has a lot of great customization settings, so overall the only thing I find wrong is The voice text taking too long to initialize and lagging while trying to listen.I am spending an inordinate amount of time editing every bit of my text messages! Gboard has become unusable! I only type one or two letters and keyboard supplies whatever word it decides I need to have in that place.

8. I turned off a lot of the corrections but for some reason when I type words are coming up on the screen that weren't even letters I typed when I use the voice.

9. Over the past month or longer, especially when I'm adding a comment in YouTube, my keyboard gets slow and will freeze, and then I'm almost always forced to close down YouTube.

10. Now you can make your keyboard a different color, light or dark, have a landscape on it, and access your recently used emoticons.

1. Fix Gboard Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Gboard: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Gboard App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Gboard" » Open Gboard - the Google Keyboard » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Gboard » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Gboard - the Google Keyboard app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Gboard servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Gboard - the Google Keyboard" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Gboard app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Gboard might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Gboard. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Gboard then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Gboard not working

2. Fix Gboard Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Gboard be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Gboard not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Gboard may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
