Why should I report an Issue with DoHome?

1. DoHome App is used to communicate with DOIT DoHome hardware, such as Wi-Fi bulb, Receptacle and Switch.

I wouldn't recommend it, even for free!App is horrid, difficult to navigate, it times out before you get a chance to switch wifi, finally get a bulb added and then it vanishes from my devices.The app functions well enough as a fancy remote control but cannot be linked to Google Home / Assistant, even after multiple tries in multiple days.

2. Nor does it actually link to Google Home for control via Google Assistant.My dohome smart plug is loosing connection and offline.

3. The app is linked as suggested, but room list does not show up.I had my lights connected to the google mini, it was working fine.

4. But once set up in google home, it does not control BOTH BULBS at thw same time.

5. *** It's not working again.*** One STAR.Does NOT work as advertised! The app does not allow you to move and/or control their own RF lights in specific groups.

6. *** IMPORTANT*** I found a solution to my problem when linking in Google do not link the one called DoHome, instead look for HiBulb.

7. This app needs a lot of improvements.Not user friendly at all...once i got the bulbs connected to wifi i could control them fine from your app.

8. Perhaps it's common among these manufacturers, but this is easily the worst IoT app I've seen so far.This app is very basic and missing a lot of smart app features such as; on or off time, automations and you can't control the scenes.

9. Its now a full day later and im STILL struggling to pair both bulbs to work in sync with google.

1. Fix DoHome Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart DoHome: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the DoHome App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DoHome" » Open DoHome » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DoHome » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear DoHome app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DoHome servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DoHome" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check DoHome app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DoHome might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall DoHome. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DoHome then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DoHome not working

2. Fix DoHome Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DoHome be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DoHome not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DoHome may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
