I requested assistance, and 2 hours later, nothingTurbo Tax used to be great, but over the years the focus has shifted away from being helpful and easy to use, and now every time I try to pick up from where I left off it literally makes me go through the entire process from the beginning all over again, each page takes a long time to load, and it won't quit asking me to upgrade to Maxx or whatever the higher paid services are, even though I've repeatedly clicked the lowest priced option because the fee is higher than my refund.

2. TurboTax, you've lost a 7+ year return customer.I'm paying for the full service tax return and it isn't even as good as the self service but the cost is double.

3. Every time you click to move your taxes forward they try to make you pay more, they hide fees, and if you accidentally click a more expensive option it's very difficult to undo it.

4. Reconsidering using them next year.I would strongly caution others from using TurboTax's app to file their taxes.

1. Fix TurboTax Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart TurboTax: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the TurboTax App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TurboTax" » Open TurboTax: File Your Tax Return » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TurboTax » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear TurboTax: File Your Tax Return app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TurboTax servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TurboTax: File Your Tax Return" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check TurboTax app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TurboTax might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall TurboTax. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TurboTax then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TurboTax not working

2. Fix TurboTax Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TurboTax be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TurboTax not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TurboTax may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
