Planner Pro Customer Insights

1. I can access the week view in the free version (though a prompt to upgrade to premium pops up), but tasks cannot be set as recurring in the free version.

2. If you are bipolar and seeking something to help you keep track of events, tasks, projects, even the day... I've been using this thing for years and wouldn't recommend anything more.

3. Oh, and the fact that in the past week or two it started giving me ads even though I have been using the paid version for years already.

4. There are other free apps that include these things.I tried about 15 task manager apps and this is the only one that has a useful functioning prioritization of tasks.

5. I use it on my iPad with no trouble at all.I've been looking for something like this for a long time - I used Franklin Planners for years, but got tired of having to deal with all the waste of paper pages each year.

6. My one problem with this app (and it's a major one, cause it seems so simple) is that the dark mode pretty much doesn't work? At first it did, but then I closed the app and came back, and I was in light mode.

7. I used a Franklin planner software on my Palm pilot 20+ years ago, and this is the closest I've seen to it in all the years I've been searching.

8. One thing that I have noticed is that the 'dark mode' doesn't consistently persist in the settings (I use this on a Samsung Tab S7+, and have the app locked to stay in memory).

9. I let them know a couple weeks ago and got no response.Nice app! The only thing I wish was improved is the month view! As it is, it only shows dots.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Planner Pro Issues

1. Fix Planner Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Planner Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Planner Pro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Planner Pro" » Open Planner Pro - Daily Calendar » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Planner Pro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Planner Pro - Daily Calendar app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Planner Pro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Planner Pro - Daily Calendar" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Planner Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Planner Pro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Planner Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Planner Pro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Planner Pro not working


2. Fix Planner Pro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Planner Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Planner Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Planner Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

    My wife, Jennifer Parkinson (jen@redacted) owns a copy of Planner Pro and as of today it requires a username and password. I don’t remember setting up a username and password. I tried requesting a new password but I am not receiving the email to reset my password. What options do I have?
