Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Envel Issues

1. Fix Envel Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Envel: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Envel App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Envel" » Open Envel - Mobile Banking » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Envel » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Envel - Mobile Banking app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Envel servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Envel - Mobile Banking" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Envel app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Envel might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Envel. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Envel then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Envel not working


2. Fix Envel Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Envel be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Envel not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Envel may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • The Envel App doesn't let me register for a account with them, when I type in my phone number & email it sends me a 6 digit security code to my phone number to enter into the Envel App & when I enter the 6 digit security code it gives me a error message & asks me if I want to start a chat with the Envel Customer Service so I do & every time that I do start a chat with the Envel Customer Service People, they never respond back to my message or contact me back by email or anything about what's the problem with me trying to make myself a Envel Account & y every time that I do try to make myself a Envel Account it gives me a error message after entering the 6 digit security code that they send to me to enter into the Envel App to start making myself a Envel Account & I would like to kno what's the problem & y can't I make me an Envel Account every time that I try to do so on the Envel App???

  • I transferred $850 dollars and another $100 dollars into my Envel account from my discover bank account I linked up to my Envel account. This was almost 10 days ago, and it still isn’t in my account yet. They took it out of my Discover bank account over a week ago, but everyday I check my balance on Envel it still says pending, it’s frustrating because I need that money, and never seen a transfer take SO long. Then I can’t find a number for customer support. I need an answer ASAP on why my money isn’t in my account yet!?!?

  • I'm contacting you because I have been locked out of my envel online banking account due to identity issues. My I'd was lost in a house fire as was everything I own, all I have is a temporary I'd from the state of oklahoma and a picture of my original I'd on my phone. I am waiting on the new card to come in, I have my social security card already, but due to my trusting your online banking I am now locked out and have no money besides that which was in my envel account. When I started this account they never asked me for my I'd nor social pictures. I have used this app for money and now all of the sudden they want my credentials? Do I need to get my attorney involved? That's all the money I have!! I have kids, I have to feed and buy new school clothes! What's the deal?
