iTek Health Scale Customer Insights

1. Says it would integrate with Google Fit, but I don't use that function, so untested.I can't create an account without the app crashing, so I tried using it as a guest.

2. The scale works but the moment I press log in or join us the app crashes instantly.

3. I'm sure there are better scales than this one with better apps.I bought the scale and installed the app a little less than a year ago.

4. Simple program, records weight from scale.

5. Haven't fully explored all features, but it appeared all functions would work, multiple family members on scale... BMI... etc.

6. So what I have to do is go into Bluetooth pairing mode and quickly tap on the scale to turn it on then my phone will see the adapter then I go into the app and step on the scale.

7. Tried to add the scale app back into my Google Fit app and it's not there.

8. Scale is alright but I won't buy this brand again when it comes time to replace it.

9. I can't even get to a screen that will allow me to pair the scale with my phone.

10. Now the scale eats through a pair of batteries in a week or two.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iTek Health Scale Issues

1. Fix iTek Health Scale Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iTek Health Scale: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iTek Health Scale App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iTek Health Scale" » Open iTek Health Scale » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iTek Health Scale » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iTek Health Scale app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iTek Health Scale servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iTek Health Scale" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iTek Health Scale app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iTek Health Scale might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iTek Health Scale. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iTek Health Scale then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iTek Health Scale not working


2. Fix iTek Health Scale Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iTek Health Scale be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iTek Health Scale not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iTek Health Scale may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • You just update the user agreement kor something. Now I have to sign in and it’s been years since I sent it up. When I try to recover my password the vcode block just counts down and then nothing. Done it a few time. How do I get a new password.

  • Scale stopped registering information on my weight. I have change the batteries, dumped and reloaded the app and lost all of my prior information, cleared the cache, do you not know what to do for this expensive item that should still be working and that I have recommended many people to purchase.   • This morning I went to get on scale , the screen was flashing inconsistently like it was having an electrical issue. I pulled the batteries so it would stop, and when I replaced the batteries, no sign of life. I put new batteries in, no sign of life at all. Scale had been working well until today. It is stored in closet so no water or humidity damage, it just decided I was too heavy to show me the truth. Ha.

  • I went to open my App today and it would not open. I tried my old email and new email and forgot password, and no emails came to reset. only message I keep getting is already registered. So I am thinking it has my old inactive email (jackie@redacted) and I can't switch my email to reset my password? or is the app suddenly not working it was fine yesterday am. HELP
