Thank you.You guys need to fix the App because we are using it for business the most painful thing is, having data whereby you can use your Facebook you can watch videos you can watch images you can use your WhatsApp to watch videos status, pictures everything works perfect with social media apps but moment you open this MOMO agent app Hmmm.

2. Etc..I started using this app as of 2020 but for more than one month now the app is running slowly, unable to connect to the server and also some agent and merchant numbers when you try to send money to them you get this message, you have entered invalid pin please crosscheck and try again later, Thank you.

3. .. I've been using it for 2 years now, continuously .The app was great making transaction easier with my customers until three days ago when I was no longer able to login getting the feedback (the 8 digit number you have entered is incorrect) I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with the same feedback.

4. But I like the app.It quite unfortunately that this app can't discharge it purpose; just this morning trying to send airtime a customer but all of a sudden it will be showing error in connectivity and before you realize it has double paid the customer; very difficult to work with.

5. The icon for airtime sale has gone missing and transactions made are no longer showing and that is very bad for business especially when there is a delay in confirmation of transaction thru the SMS alert.

6. You send airtime and instead of showing you sent successfully it shows u error due to connectivity issue meanwhile the the airtime has been sent.

7. While would I be wasting my time for nothing! Detective errors: Difficult to sell airtime subscription and data.

8. And also since screenshot cannot be made on the app, a provision should be made to be able to download and share transaction receipt not just to view alone.

9. And also airtime sell to all network should be made possible ASAP.

10. When transferring funds to and from bank the cannot display my accounts (multiple accounts numbers) for me to choose the specific account i want to transfer to or from.

11. That will make it awesomeThe app needs to be way faster than this ... if MTN wants the app to be the go-to standard, the connection to the server and speed of the app seriously needs huge improvement.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MoMo Agent Issues

1. Fix MoMo Agent Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MoMo Agent: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MoMo Agent App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MoMo Agent" » Open MoMo Agent » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MoMo Agent » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MoMo Agent app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MoMo Agent servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MoMo Agent" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MoMo Agent app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MoMo Agent might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MoMo Agent. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MoMo Agent then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MoMo Agent not working


2. Fix MoMo Agent Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MoMo Agent be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MoMo Agent not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MoMo Agent may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
