1. I shouldn't have to call or write a letter or a bad review to get help.I highly do NOT recommend this card! They purposely apply late payments to your credit report every month even if you make a payment before the date.

2. You need to review your payment features.The is the worst credit card, I've ever had the only way to pay is through ones bank.

3. You have to pay through your bank and then when they send it the company receives it whenever and then apply late fee and report late payment smh this is the WORST CARD COMPANY EVER.

4. Its almost like you set your customers up to fail so that you can charge interest and fees! I don't recommend getting an account with them ever!I've had this card about 8 months I use it to fill my car up once a month and send electronic check the same day from banking app.

5. No customer service or help in the appI've had this credit card for just over a year now, & so far I've been very pleased w/ it.

6. Trying to build credit honestly should not be difficult.The payment process with this card is terrible.

7. I am trying to reestablish my credit, and you cause me to be late with my other accounts, which I intended to pay with my card.

8. What's worse is even then they don't report the payment being made to the credit bureaus.

9. It did take a few weeks to receive, & I was hit with that initial $49 payment before getting my card.

10. I've set it up for auto pay for a few things, & banking thru Wells Fargo, have no issue making paymentsYour app is very frustrating to use! Transactions take days to appear which makes knowing if the availabile balance is correct or not a constant concern.

11. I have 11 other secured and unsecured credit cards, and this company is by far, the worse.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix First Progress Issues

1. Fix First Progress Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart First Progress: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the First Progress App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "First Progress" » Open First Progress » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for First Progress » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear First Progress app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from First Progress servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "First Progress" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check First Progress app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, First Progress might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall First Progress. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall First Progress then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing First Progress not working


2. Fix First Progress Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make First Progress be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to First Progress not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, First Progress may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
