About Universe Silver

1. The Universe Silver™ Deposit Account is established by Central Bank of Kansas City, Member FDIC.

2. May take up to three (3) business days to process. 2 In order for you to be paid early, your payroll or benefits payment provider must submit the deposit early.

3. To be eligible for enrollment in Optional Overdraft Protection an initial minimum qualifying direct deposit of $200 is required with a $200 direct deposit monthly thereafter.

4. A qualifying deposit is defined as a direct deposit greater than $5. 00 received from the same payer. 3 Overdraft Protection limit is inclusive of Overdraft Protection Fees.

5. Be sure to ask your payroll or benefits payment provider when they submit your deposit information to the bank for processing.

6. It is important to note that your payroll or benefits payment provider may not submit the deposit or payment early each payment period.

7. We will charge you a fee of $15 each time we pay a transaction that overdraws your deposit account by more than $15, up to 4 times monthly.

8. The $15 fee will not be charged if your deposit account balance at the end of the day, after all items have posted, is brought back to a positive balance of $0 or greater.

9. Please refer to your Deposit Account Agreement for additional details regarding fees.

10. Universe Silver is an FDIC-insured deposit account.

11. The Universe Silver™ Debit Card is issued by Central Bank of Kansas City pursuant to a license from Visa U. S. A. , Inc.

1. Love the card! Been using it for 2 years now, and can't get enough! I deposit part of my check on there so I can get my money 2 days faster! It easier to use and great to have as an actual bank accout (feels great to have the protection) and be able to handle my business anywhere with the online banking features! (I travel a lot so being able to go anywhere to get money or deposit money helps!) Would recommend this card to everyone!!I love that my card is FDIC insured, unlike other cards.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Universe Silver Issues

1. Fix Universe Silver Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Universe Silver: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Universe Silver App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Universe Silver" » Open Universe Silver » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Universe Silver » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Universe Silver app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Universe Silver servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Universe Silver" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Universe Silver app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Universe Silver might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Universe Silver. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Universe Silver then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Universe Silver not working


2. Fix Universe Silver Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Universe Silver be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Universe Silver not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Universe Silver may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
