From John DavidAnswer to -"Do you spend more time than expected, is a very clear NO now, but the other two questions - "Does this app have remote desktop" AND "Can you use this app to chat?" are yet to test or to examine, because the word remote makes somewhat suspicion..!! Hence giving four stars (because apparently very beautiful and simple!, but am sure can give FIVE after six months....!Love this app.

2. Most important, cannot be removed without entering the password - surprising the number of so-called security apps which do not have this facility.

4. Kudos to the developer.At the beginning I was glad with it because it is possible to use a PIN of more than 4 digits; but after using it for about two weeks, one day it began to change the number 6 for number 9 (I typed 6, it wrote 9).

11. How about a camouflage/decoy app icon/app name or two rather than an obvious, "butt out!?!" Maybe more theme-intensive icon customizing options for the detail-oriented? It's a beautiful app, almost elegant.

1. Fix App Lock Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart App Lock: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the App Lock App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "App Lock" » Open App Lock » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for App Lock » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear App Lock app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from App Lock servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "App Lock" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check App Lock app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, App Lock might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall App Lock. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall App Lock then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing App Lock not working

2. Fix App Lock Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make App Lock be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to App Lock not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, App Lock may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
