Work Customer Insights

1. not just my phone coworker with a Samsung also same problemit's a really easy app to use and has everything you need to schedule yourself and others in advanced in a way that is not confusing or easy to miss overall really solid appPLEASE FIX THE BUGS! Doesn't show team roster anymore at all! Only shows your own name so you have no idea who you're working with that day which is incredibly frustrating.

2. The most consistent time it does work is if I'm clocked out and start a break; but then it won't clock back in from the break.

3. If these sound like exaggerations, it's because it got to the point where I initially said it as an exaggeration then actually timed it and sometimes took 25 minutes to clock in, prompting why I was late to work.

4. Going to the 'apps running' screen then returning to the app takes another 10+ minutes to reload the page that you never left to begin with.

5. I have to use this on a daily basis to clock in/out but it crashes every single time I try to use it.

6. Almost impossible to clock in and out because it freezes every time.

7. Would be good if it was available on desktop ...my experience with this app I have a Google pixel pro 7 and it does not work at all.

8. I have an Android device, I already tried every possible Troubleshooting and check any notification settings available.

9. I would uninstall it IMMEDIATELY if I could.Takes 10 minutes+ to load the app on a 5g network or with stable wifi.

10. Easily over 90% of the time I can't clock in or out.

11. I can't believe how useless it is.Can't even log in the majority of the time on my android.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Work Issues

1. Fix Work Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Work: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Work App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Work" » Open Workforce.com - Employee App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Work » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Workforce.com - Employee App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Work servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Workforce.com - Employee App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Work app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Work might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Work. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Work then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Work not working


2. Fix Work Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Work be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Work not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Work may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
