I don't know if it's hidden accidentally due to screen size but can't even scroll down to get to it So that's a major flaw but otherwise great appI've been an Ellevest member since the beginning (during my personal financial stages- as a single working women to a grad student, and now married) and have found the community to be a great space.

2. It wouldn't even let me cancel my account without emailing support.Great concept, but doing away with the banking side means I'm headed elsewhere.

3. I have been investing for almost a year and I have seen no return in my money I have only experienced losses.

4. Update Now I'm at a loss of OVER $2K Edit A year later and I am still at a loss of over 1K.Makes me a couple of bucks each year, absolutely easiest thing ever.

8. Very buggyOn iOS you can transfer from a bank account; on Android 11 (not sure if on earlier versions) you can only transfer from internal accounts.

9. I uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my phone, still getting the "you need to update" message and it won't let me advance beyond that screen.

10. The latest update allows me to set the transactions every other week - lining up perfectly with my pay days.

1. Fix Ellevest Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Ellevest: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Ellevest App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ellevest" » Open Ellevest: Investing for women » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ellevest » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Ellevest: Investing for women app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ellevest servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ellevest: Investing for women" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Ellevest app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ellevest might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Ellevest. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ellevest then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ellevest not working

2. Fix Ellevest Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ellevest be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ellevest not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ellevest may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
