Lenme Customer Insights

1. Update: three months trying to contact customer service and I finally got a one sentence response, misspelled, from an actual person after telling them that I filed for purchase protection to get my refund.OMG. You can put in request alone it determines the amount that you get to request or the maximum amount I guess but then you can't cancel that request it just sits there on in forever until they decide to cancel it.

2. I've been waiting three months for a loan, and the same amount of time fighting just to get a response that isn't automated from customer service.

3. The whole app seems a little useless unless you live in a big citySo far the app is great except that if you change your mind on the loan, you cannot cancel it until you recieve an offer.

4. If that's the case, then get rid of the auto snap feature for the ID barcode.The ability to use the app is fine, but not being able to cancel a Loan for 30 days if no one wants to fund the loan is a poor design.

5. E-mailed customer service, they got back to me but only gave me an hour to record a video of what was wrong so they closed my ticket because I didn't submit the problem in time.

6. I can't cancel the loan until at least one or two lenders show interest in it, which seems extremely counter intuitive.

7. Trying to adjust the loan or the payback date doesn't work.

8. I would like a refundThis service is useless and pretty much just wants to take the $10 from you for the yearly subscription after the extremely short free trial.

9. I can cancel the request to change the amount.

10. If I could rate this app and customer service zero stars, I would.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Lenme Issues

1. Fix Lenme Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Lenme: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Lenme App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Lenme" » Open Lenme: Investing and Borrowing » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Lenme » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Lenme: Investing and Borrowing app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Lenme servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Lenme: Investing and Borrowing" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Lenme app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Lenme might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Lenme. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Lenme then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Lenme not working


2. Fix Lenme Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Lenme be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Lenme not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Lenme may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • They allegedly put $50 in my bank account which I was actually never able to use and then they charged me out of the blue $60 even more money than what I wanted, this put my bank account in the negatives and now I’m screwed for next month I would like this charge removed but there is no way to contact this company really starting to think it’s a scam, sorry but I’m not paying for money I was never able to use in the first place.

  • I am trying to connect my bank and it keeps telling me that my bank is missing a account and routing number. But how can my bank account not have an account that I receive deposits? So I called my bank and they said I have to reach out to you guys because it’s something on your end. Can you please please help me fix this because I need help and I need to borrow ASAP!

  • I’ve been using Lenme since it was once known as Lenmo back in 2019 or earlier. Recently, I took a loan out for $606.11 from an investor by the name JM with an APR of 125%. Recently the bank account linked to initiate the payback on the loan was compromised from a social engineering scam. I since then have contacted Lenme through the app on multiple occasions asking how I can change and provide the new bank account information so I’m not penalized with any late fees, I contacted them on June 9th and the payment pulls on June 11th. The investor will not get the payment due to a closed/froze account. I’ve done my due diligence on my end to make things right but Lenme has wrongfully avoided my efforts to provide the information you need to get the investor paid on time. To me this is very wrong and untimely for such hard times and hardships due to inflation. To top it off, an individual from Lenme responded stating they do not assist on bank account changes online and the app itself doesn’t allow changes either, so what do you expect me to do then? There’s definitely a flaw in this system. Please contact me at 510-206-2048 to have this corrected, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
