Balance Health Customer Insights

1. There is also a lot of room for additional fields for this app; how about, after transferring the bp reading, it allows fields for manual entry of temperature, blood oxygen, weight, and other vital numbers?Used this app together with a Greater Goods blood pressure cuff to do daily measurements for two months to get a better idea of what my blood pressure range is under normal conditions.

2. If you don't treat that data with utmost care and NEVER let it be accidentally deleted then you might as well buy a manual blood pressure cuff for $10 and write everything down on paper - that will be more reliable if less convenient.

3. Kudos to the designers!This app does pretty good at displaying blood pressure and pulse data from the cuff device.

4. Now, sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn’t and sometimes it takes a very very long time to transfer the blood pressure reading from the cuff device to the phone.

5. This may be a limitation of the technology, but again it makes recording blood pressure readings more involved than it should be.I just received the monitor so downloaded the app.

6. Very convenient blood pressure and heart rate tracker that uploads readings automatically and allows manual input and also allows notes.

7. I went to the company website and found that you first have to hold the start button down " to bypass manual setup mode and power your monitor off." After I did that, I was able to follow the directions in the app and it connected right away.

8. It started working after that but all of my previous data is now gone! Is the data not backed up anywhere?! The whole point of buying fancy devices like that is to easily store historical data to monitor trends.

9. Still, it would be nice if the charts on the main screen were a bit more useful, and if there was some notion of repeat measurements.Does not sync data properly.

10. However, at some point in the last few months, an update or change to the app makes the Bluetooth connection to the Android phone very sporadic.

11. The blood pressure monitor is great and accurate.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Balance Health Issues

1. Fix Balance Health Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Balance Health: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Balance Health App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Balance Health" » Open Balance Health » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Balance Health » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Balance Health app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Balance Health servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Balance Health" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Balance Health app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Balance Health might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Balance Health. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Balance Health then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Balance Health not working


2. Fix Balance Health Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Balance Health be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Balance Health not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Balance Health may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
