1. While I need to have this app on my phone for the time being, I find recent updates to be an intrusion and a pain.Almost done with my trial period, and I plan on continuing as a paid customer.
2. I use 8x8 to call out since I can control the number it says I'm calling from (I don't want most people having my direct line) but receiving calls has to be done on a separate device.
3. Problem is it doesn't like receiving on my phone and I have to have call forwarding set up to a separate phone.
4. If I start the app while my phone is on silent and then switch to sound the app doesn't change it's settings.
5. Fortunately call forwarding seems to work really consistently and quickly.Performance is generally good but with the recent update my contact list is suddenly filled with all my Google contacts.
6. If I could change phone app, I would, but the company I work for uses it, so I'm stuck using it.This app has the most annoying notifications ever.
7. Want to turn them off in settings? Nope, doesn't work.
8. When call comes in, the display shows me the city that the call comes from, unless that caller is in my contacts, in which case it shows me the contact name that I entered.
9. I turned it off on the app controls of my phone but Virtual Office does not pay attention to that apparently.
10. How about in app settings where it gives you the option to turn off notifications? Nah, we're gonna fill up your screen anyways and vibrate at an alarming rate.
11. I don't like the setting to use cellular minutes because then I can't tell if the call is coming from the app or my phone.
