1. If you have cold or flu symptoms, sinus pain, sore throat, painful urination, a minor rash or skin issue, upset stomach, or other minor symptoms, use Connect Care 24/7/365 to quickly and conveniently get the care you need from wherever you are – just $69 a visit.

2. The Intermountain Health Connect Care app allows you or your child to visit with an Intermountain Health clinician for certain urgent care conditions using your phone or tablet.

3. Our highly-trained, board certified nurse practitioners and physician assistants have many years of experience in urgent care, clinics, and hospitals, and are specially trained to provide care using telehealth.

4. Connect Care is a convenient, affordable way to get care from Intermountain Health clinicians.

5. Your doctor will also be able to see the results of your visit in your medical record, and can incorporate it into your overall care.

6. When appropriate for your condition, we can prescribe and deliver your prescription to your home or nearest pharmacy.

Connect Care Customer Insights

1. Can not switch to any other app while waiting for provider.Very easy to operate, very easy to connect with a practioner, and if you experience any issues there is a customer service agent just a call away that can walk you through any problem/question that you may have.It's definitely hard not to have personal contact with your doctor but for the situation at hand overall it's a pretty good experience I just feel that in situations where you need your doctor person to person or face to face in a environment you're comfortable with is better than sitting before a camera but overall is a pretty good experienceI have had many telehealth appointments and always something happens with the connection or the volume of the voice.

2. Here are 2 pieces of feedback: 1) While in the waiting room the app should have a pane that shows the patient what their video looks like so they can make sure they are ok with what is going to be seen by the provider.

3. I highly suggest users create their profile at a calm moment before having to actually use the app for a medical need.The PA I saw was great, but the app seemed to have issues working properly.

4. It may be a problem with the app or the facility may need faster internet, either one would be worth fixing in order to make the experience feel premium.This app is garbage and so is the desktop version.

5. I could see my doctor, and I could see my video was being captured by my device, but he had trouble seeing me multiple times during the visit.

6. Where has this functionality been my whole life?! :) My only frustration was having to set up my profile during the stress of having a medical need.

7. It gave the option to connect with the provider by phone call instead, so I hit that option and still nothing.

8. However, I did really, really appreciate not having to wait in a doctor's office during COVID-19.

9. 2) I have a 300 mb internet connection yet my doctor's feed was coming through low res.

10. I didn't encounter not one issue, delay or any cause to roll my eyes throughout the whole 75 minute call.

11. I needed to connect with a doctor because a back pain that was unbearable.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Connect Care Issues

1. Fix Connect Care Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Connect Care: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Connect Care App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Connect Care" » Open Connect Care: 24/7 Urgent Care » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Connect Care » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Connect Care: 24/7 Urgent Care app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Connect Care servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Connect Care: 24/7 Urgent Care" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Connect Care app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Connect Care might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Connect Care. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Connect Care then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Connect Care not working


2. Fix Connect Care Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Connect Care be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Connect Care not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Connect Care may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
